JKPM felicitates elected office bearers of KPC | KNO

Srinagar, July 16 (KNO) : State President Youth and Media Advisor Jammu Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) Chasfeeda Shah Tuesday felicitated the office bearers of the Kashmir Press Club who were elected in maiden KPC election at Srinagar yesterday. In a statement issued to KNO, she exuded confidence that those elected to various posts will work with sincerity of purpose and zest for the overall welfare of the journalistic fraternity. Shah while congratulating the newly elected team, hoped that the elected body will work sincerely to redress the genuine grievances of the journalist and address concerns of media persons especially who are working in Kashmir. She felicitated senior journalists Shuja-ul-Haq, Moazam Muhammad, Ishfaq Ahmad Tantray, Farooq Javed for being elected as President, Vice President, General Secretary and Treasurer of KPC. Shah said that the level of enthusiasm and spirit exhibited by the participating scribes in the conduct of fair elections suggest that journalism in the state shall continue to flourish despite all odds. Shah hoped that the newly elected office bearers of the Srinagar Press club will work with dedication for the overall welfare of journalistic fraternity. She on her behalf and on behalf of JKPM wished good luck to all the elected members of the Press Club.(KNO)
